why wont my wallpaper or theme buttons do anything on my.galaxy S7 but my widget button works?

I pinch my home screen button and my wallpaper and themes and widgets button show up. somehow on my phone in the background is my picture on it. I found the picture in my gallery and deleted it but it still on my screen. I push on themes it does nothing. something for wallpapers. but does when I hit my widgets button. I cant get rid of the pic on my screen. somebody HELP!

You can't get rid of wallpaper, you can only replace it with other wallpaper. There has to be something showing on the screen, even if it's a black background (which saves battery with an AMOLED screen).

I've went to my amoled settings there is no black screen there. I tried all three settings to no avail. but shouldn't the theme button do something or the wallpapercb button?
