WHY would gesture wake up be happening when it's not enabled?

Are there any other settings that might cause the screen to turn on (like gesture wake up does) when the feature is not even enabled???

I've turned the feature on, then off again for good measure... restarted it. It's still happening.

Why?

I must have a lemon. This damn phone seems to have an issue every week.

Oh, and after a certain time (yet undetermined), the behavior just stops. 2nd day in a row that this is happening.

Either I'm discovering all the bugs in 5.0.2 or my phone is just a lemon.


And nothing? No one??? Really??????

I didn't know the S6/edge had this gesture feature that wakes up the screen.

I wished it did, double tap the screen.
