Why would Moto remove the app drawer function of the home button?

Thats one of the features that made the slider at the bottom tolerable. Now there always that delay when I want to open the app drawer or make a call once I switch screens, it doesn't look like they gave the button any other function but rather removed functionality from it. Does anyone know why they did that?

I can't speak for Moto, but you can set the home button to do whatever you want if you press it twice, so you can restore that functionality if you want.

But you can't set it to open up the apps drawer, only a select list of applications. I'm disappointed as well.

I like that it doesn't open the app drawer actually. I always wanted to find a way to disable the BB's BB (menu) key from opening the application menu.

Move ur finger a quarter inch up, n hit the drawer????????
