Why???

Why is it when I try to download a file, wether it be megaupload or something else, like gingerbread it stops downloading and a pop up says "Download unsuccesful- Cannot download. The content is not supported on this phone." I have a Droid X and the files I'm trying to download are for the Droid X. Help please.

Are you downloading over wifi or 3G?

Some sites work and others don't. Some when the screen goes black the dl gets killed. I just used mega and the file was bad.

I'd suggest using a different browser to download files. Through 3G and Opera Mobile "not mini" I can downloadt pretty much any file type and large files at that, like 400mb+ lol.

I also use crutch download app, it's not really an app, more like a script that fools the browser into allowing you to download unsupported files. It's no longer in the market so you'll have to search for it on google.
