Whys is my HTC One C overheating?

My htc one x overheats!

Please help me also while im charging there is a red light while im charging it

Are you using an original HTC charger that came with the phone?, some lower end chargers lack the power to charge the phone while using it, it is also normal for batteries to warm up while charging.

Also, if you are playing games while charging it even with the original charger it is normal for the phone to get hot, very very hot.

If you feel identitied with any of these scenarios, try swiping away some apps from the recent apps button before charging the phone, the less load there is on the phone, the faster it will charge and the less it will heat up.

Edit: Oops! forgot to mention, it is normal for a red light to be steadily on while charging, when the phone charges completly it will turn to steady green.
