Wi-Fi calling feature hidden on US unlocked model after all?

In another thread on these forums someone posted that wifi calling is on the unlocked model BUT that it's a hidden feature that you need an app like quick shortcut to go searching for wi-fi settings and you can enable it that way. I'd like to know this because I might order it this weekend.
