Wi-Fi dropping out after May update?

Has anyone had issues with their Wi-Fi dropping out? Ever since the May update, my Wi-Fi seems to drop out when the screen has been off for some period. This has just started since May update. I DO have "stay connected to Wi-Fi with screen off" turned ON, Wi-Fi and BT scanning is off, and nothing is checked in Developer Options that is Wi-Fi related. I work 6ft from a Meraki AP 10 hours a day and my router (Netgear R7000) is not much further from where I dwell at home. All firmware on both the Meraki and the R7000 are up-to-date (I'm a network admin.)

I've experienced this as well, prior to the May update. I don't think it's related to the latest update.

No issues here. Neither before or after update.

I have not seen anything like that; certainly not since the May update, which I received about a week ago.

You could try running in Safe Mode one day just to see if the behavior is different.

After that, the usual: wipe the system cache in Recovery mode and if that doesn't help then try a Factory Reset.

I forgot to mention that I have wiped the cache already.

No issues, but it does mention in the known issues for this build that WiFi connections may drop when the screen is off. Always good to read the known issues page before installing

This is happening to me as well with the May update, but only at night when it's charging (not during active use). I notice on my battery graphs that WiFi is blank. I prefer to be on WiFi while charging, so that the phone can backup Whatsapp, sync w/ Google, download music/apps, etc. It does none of this while on mobile data/LTE

Not seeing anything of the sort mentioned on source. android.com.

I've noticed it prior to may build and only because on my tmobile usage I would see data usage like .01 or .00 data being used every hour of so, sometimes more often, sometimes less. Only at night when it's on the charger. Also to note, I work from home, so I'm on Wifi pretty much 24/7. I'll have to look at it recently to see if it's still doing it.

Looking at my may usage, I have a few 0.00 or 0.01mb but April and March they are all over the place, like every 45 mins to 2 hours.

However, I did have the tmobile app installed with diagnostics turned on and I've since turned that off since it was killing my battery at times. So it's very possible that it was the app phoning home to check for signal/coverage etc. I guess I could turn it back on to either rule it out or not.

Stay tuned.

Yes I am getting the same problem. Radio streaming apps, etc seem to just cut out all the time. Can we roll it back to the previous version?

Well according to my tmobile usage, I've not used any data since 5/28 and I just turned off the diagnostics part of their app tonight. I had always believed it was that causing the issue but maybe not. Or a combination of it, and something wrong with the previous versions of Android.

Nothing from my router has changed in a very long time, static ip, same dns etc.

Sorry, thought I could help.

I think I have found the problem here. I reset all of my data sources, go to Settings -> Backup and Reset -> Reset network settings -> Reset settings. Your phone will restart minus all your data connections.
But once I did this and re-connected my wifi, mobile data, etc I THINK (I wil confirm in the next few days) that it is working as before.
I hope it has worked anyway!

Ive had wifi dropping issues since i got this phone. But my s7e also does it too so it may be my internet.
