Wi-fi issues

Haveing some issues with connecting to wi-fi networks. I could not connect to my home network until I hardcoded the phone's MAC address and gave it a fixed IP address. Before that, it would keep looping trying to obtain an IP address.

I get the same issue at my work's wi-fi network. Keeps trying to obtain an IP address. Our IT dept does not assign IP addresses so I cannot have my MAC address added.

Anyone else have problems connecting to wi-fi?

sounds like MAC address filtering is enabled

I'm going to run into that when I get mine since I filter by MAC. Where would one find the MAC on the phone? Is there a way to get it through the UI, or do I need to get a terminal app and run ifconfig?
