AT&T Galaxy S8 wi-fi trouble

My new Galaxy s8 will not retain my log in credentials long enough to access the encrypted wi-fi at work. The wi-fi connection returns with a message that authentication failed. Is there a switch that I need to turn on to get other w-fi?

Welcome to Android Central! Is this a wi-fi password you have to enter in the wi-fi settings, or is it a password you enter on a welcome login website?

This is on the initial set up page for the wi-fi connection from the phone to the encrypted work server.

Have you tried forgetting the network, then connecting to it again? Have you double-checked with your IT support to make sure the password is correct? Can your IT support provide any other help with this?
