WI-FI wont shut down

Also, have you been into the *#0011# menu and changed any settings? There is a "sleep" for Wi-Fi there also.

Just a thought.. does your phone have a connections optimizer? In mobile networks... I know the Sprint version does that brings Wi-Fi on all the time for me

AT&T does, that is the Smart Wi-Fi we have talked about.

What's that a connections optimizer?

It can Kerrey Wi-Fi I all the time or make it shut down..it's really senseless because it remembers hotspots and makes you automatically connect to AT&T hotspots or other connections you use. You can do that with most connections in Wi-Fi settings and at hotspots, no big deal to connect manually, IMO.

It can be set to automatically turn Wi-Fi off, etc. It used to be a pretty good app a couple of years ago before they forced it on us, now it is kinda wonky. Some people can't keep a Wi-Fi connection active and some, their Wi-Fi seems to be keeping their phone from sleeping.
