Widgets don't appear on home screen

I installed sticky notes and weather app, but the widgets are not working and showing up. I checked in widgets list and they're not listed in there too. I read on some forums that it should be in internal storage because android had blocked the widgets on apps installed in SD card. I thought this is the problem since most of my apps is on the SD card to save space, but I tried moving it to phone and then restart the phone or install an app directly to internal storage and still no luck. I also tried clearing data of my home screen. I disabled some built-in apps that I am not using to save space too so I'm wondering if it is what causing my phone to misbehave. The problem is if that's the case I don't know which app should be enabled.

The apps I disabled are Google Hindi Input, Google Play Books, Google Play Games, Google Play Movies & TV, Google Play Music, Google Play Newsstand, Guvera Music, Hangouts, Laterooms, Lenovo Companion, Navigate, Scoop, and Wechat

My phone is Lenovo A1000 with android version Lollipop 5.0. I am really not good at smartphones so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you install these apps through Google Play Store, or from some other source?

Is the phone running an alternate launcher, like Nova Launcher? Alternate launchers aren't always compatible with all widgets.

Hi, thanks. Yes, I download it all through the play store. I'm only using the default system launcher which is Launcher3. Oh I forgot to mention that before, sticky notes app(frank remark sticky notes) widget worked fine in my phone before, but after some weeks it just stopped working along with other widgets.

It may be that some update to the system or to some other apps might be conflicting with the apps you're talking about. For now, you may want to try alternative sticky notes and weather widget apps.
