Widgets stop working

Anyone else having issues with widgets stopping after tge 4.1.2 update?

They were working with 4.1.1. Didn't notice the problem till today have had the update since it came out.

Additional notes it seems to only hapoen after being connected to wifi for a few minutes. It affects apps like facebook as well. A friend is having the same issue with her S2 running 4.1.2

This is not what you want to hear, but it is recommended with any major/minor OS update to do a factory reset to clear old files that are still left from the old OS. Like a clean install on a PC as opposed to a upgrade. I was having problems with mine till the Factory Reset.
Go to Settings/Back up and reset, then choose Factory data reset.

Thank you Gt I did that last night and it seems to be working now.

Update: after doing the reset the problem still occurs. It appears to be happening only after I'm on wifi and use the stock browser. Doing a restart fixes the issue. When the widgets and social apps mess up so does the play store.
