wierd annoying problem with downloaded pics.

last week I got a text from a friend with a picture and saved it to my phone. Then a few days later I deleted the picture and went on. Now I got a new pic from a different person and I did the same thing downloaded it to the phone. The problem is when you go into the gallery and scroll down to my downloaded Pict's that only has the one picture that I just downloaded it still shows the old picture in the gallery list for my downloads. How can I fix this? I even erased the downloads folder and still the same.

If you press does on the picture in the Gallery and click on Details, does it display the file path as the downloads folder? Maybe it's storing it in 2 places.

It will not let me click on the picture in the gallery, if I touch it it brings me to the folder with the one picture that does not match the gallery thumbnail.

I just tried to recreate your problem and couldn't :/ The first time I did it, I thought clicking the red X is what deleted it, but I had to actually press the delete button. The red X just means that it's selected. If that isn't what's happening, then I'm not sure what to tell you.

I just fixed it, I went manage apps and went into the gallery app and cleared the cache. It must save the gallery pics there. Thanks for the help Cory.
