Wife Upgraded to Pixel 3 XL

Got my wife a new pixel 3 xl 128gb for $350. She has had her pixel 2 xl for over 3 years and was acting up. She was reluctant to leave it behind but 3 days into her pixel 3 xl and she loves it even more.

I am on pixel 4 xl but remember how great of a phone the pixel 3 xl was while setting it up for her. Forgot that it has wider screen and I really miss that. Pixel 4 xl is a bit skinny for my taste.

Anyway, she will probably use this 3 xl for the next 3 years before she is ready to move up. She loves her phones and only upgrades when she has to.

Pixel 3s still rock. Cheers!

Remember that starting in Feb 2022, Original Quality Google Photos uploads will count towards her Google Drive storage, so if she doesn't have a big Google One plan, set a reminder to change the backup quality to High Quality on 2/1/22 (which will still be unlimited for the 3 XL for life).

I recently picked up a brand new unlocked 3xl myself to replace my pixel 1.... it's waiting patiently in it's box with some sweet cases, ready to be put into action when I get some free time I can't wait to upgrade to that big screen from my little 5 inch pixel 1 screen I have to say my pixel 1 has been a great phone though...years of reliable, trouble free service. I hope the 3xl can fill those shoes

You will be extremely happy with the 3 xl. I have had all pixels (except 5, screen too small) and now on pixel 4 xl. 3 xl is my favorite.

I love pixels as well. Moved from the 4xl to a S10+but just got a 4a 5G over the weekend and loving it. It is very smooth, the camera takes better photos of my cats than the S10+ and I can't see any degradation of performance over the 4xl.

the pixel 3xl is definitely in my top 3 of favorite devices used ever. I loved the build, the battery, the screen, and yes.. even that knotch. but now I have the 4a5g, I was going to get the 5 but I wanted the headphone jack back.

I felt that the gains for the 4a 5G outweighed those for the 5.

1. The price, 2. Headphone Jack, 3. Proper top speaker, 4. Larger screen.

I have stopped using wireless charging cos I reckon that is what killed the battery on my S10+ and I am used to 60 Hz screen so not bothered about 90 Hz. I had it on the 4xl and still preferred the S10+ over that phone. So not bothered.

The 4a 5G is very lightweight but is so snappy and fast. I really think it is the sweet spot of all the Pixels of 2020. I am everso pleased with my purchase.

Love my 3XL. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. So why do I lust after the Samsung 21 ultra when all I do with Samsungs is make them look like Pixels? I do love that hardware tho
