So my phone seems to not automatically connect to my home wifi whenever I get home. I have to turn wifi off and then back on for it to automatically connect. I just restarted the phone and I have noticed this for a couple of days so I will see if it stops now. Just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing this with wifi networks.

Did you change any settings (like scanning) just before it started?

Actually I did change that one that switches the bands come to think of it. I turned it on a while ago.

I'm having the same issue. Ever since the update the wifi goes in and out

Amazing Verizon Galaxy Note 4

Over the last week my Note has not been pulling notification on my home wifi. If I toggle wifi off I will get bombarded with them. My 6+ has no issues on the same network.

My phone has also not been playing nice with wifi. Even when it shows it is connected to my home network, the speed is wonky... So I have to turn my wifi off even at home. (My other devices at home are working fine)

Interesting. I'm wondering if we all have that setting in wifi on.

I have been having the same issues for quite some time now...infact i started a whole thread about how i don't get push notifications on wifi, but it all works fine when i am connected to Data...Apparently, the consensus are there's something wrong with your home router, and there's a whole host of setting that needs to be done which i am NO expert in!

Strange. Assuming you had your note 4 since launch like me, did you only start having these problems after NK3?

Nope...Had it like after a week or 2 weeks after I got my Note 4...Did the update, hoping it would fix it, it didn't!
and funny this was I had the same thing with Note 3...I am guessing it's my home router, but I don't know how to fix it. Called the ISP and they said everything was fine with my router (which was as expected)!

Funny, i've been having a similar issue. It doesn't connect to home wifi and when I take a look at the toggle in the drop down its not lit up fully. It's only when I actually go into the proper wifi settings does it decide to connect. This has only been happening for the last few weeks. Have the phone about three months now. I haven't had any updates to my firmware since buying the phone.

Correction, just did a check for an update and it turns out I've just received NK4. Not sure that's included with it.

Is your Smart Network Switch in advanced settings on? Mine would keep on disconnecting from wifi saying it would reconnect 'when the network became more stable'. The other day I read that unchecking the Smart Network Switch would help out, and I haven't noticed wifi dropping out as much since I unchecked it, so maybe give that a try?

Mines been acting up too, I just got it last week and did an update the day I bought it, so I'm not sure if it was the update that did it or not. But WiFi seems to have fits where it will connect and disconnect repeatly, but it does randomly. It did it last night for about 30 min, even after resetting my router and phone, but right now its stable. Very weird.

I am having the same problem, only my phone is a Motorola Droid Maxx. I have 2 android phones, 1 is a Motorola Droid Maxx and the wifi is acting funny first it stops then the list goes blank. But the other phone's (which is a Motorola Droid Ultra) wifi is working fine.
