So far, I'm loving the update, but I notice that my wifi will occasionally disconnect and reconnect on its own. It is not due to the distance from the router but I was just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Mine did it often in 4.1.1, not so often in 4.2.2 (but some).

Do you have 'avoid poor connections' checked in wifi advanced options? That will definitely increase the frequency.

Try erasing and reprogramming your home connection on your phone. Also try resetting your modem.

Once connected mine runs great, but I have noticed since the update that when I shut off my phone, then turn it back on, in order to get WiFi to work again I have to turn it WiFi off then back on again. Becomes a bit annoying. Loving the update other than that.

I've noticed the same thing when I'm connected to the wifi at work. It was fine before the 4.2.2 OTA, but now it frequently disconnects from the wifi and reconnects on its own. Would this be a significant drain on battery?

I would think so.

Has anyone with this problem tried a factory reset? Has that fixed it? I'm still having this issue and just wondering if this might work before I wipe my phone.

I was wondering the same. I want to fix it, but don't want to go through all of that if it doesn't work.

I had problems with all aspects of Bluetooth one 4.2.2 was installed, and wiping the phone did nothing at all to help. I ended up reverting back to 4.1.1, and everything went back to operational.

TONY:)
