I have access to WiFi on my narrow boat but reception inside is poor. Is there an external aerial available that could be plugged into the device to improve the reception quality ?
I'm new to the forum so applogies if this is covered elsewhere.

Your problem statement is vague. To what device do you want to connect an aerial antenna? Cell phones don't have antenna connectors. Some WiFi PC cards do. You can also put up a repeater (range extender), like a Peplink SurfAP or a DD-WRT WiFi router in repeater mode.

Sorry I should have said. The device is a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
It has no sim card.
I'm looking for a way to improve WiFi quality when inside the boat. Outside is quite good.
