Wifi calling icon gone after Pie

After upgrading to Pie there is no more status icon showing wifi calling is on even though it's working fine and you can swipe down and see it's on.
But there used to be an icon in the top status bar showing it's on and now its gone.
Anyone else notice this?

Not having a bunch of icons on the top of my screen is a good thing. I turned wifi calling on so I know it's on. I don't need a constant reminder.

Yea but sometimes it could be on yet not work due to some issue and the icon would show that.
Maybe you don't care but I think that's useful to know.

You can tell by the audio quality. If not, why would you use it? Mine sounds very different when on.

The Icon is in "Settings", both regular and quick pull down screens, but not in the notification bar at the top here in the States. You still have it Boss?

It's really weird. I turned on airplane mode, then wifi calling and I have a wifi SMS icon in status bar yet no wifi calling icon still.
Confirmed that I can make a wifi call so it's working, just no icon to let me know... so weird
I think it's a carrier issue. I am using metro/tmobile.

Have both EE and O2. Unlocked N960FD

Volte icon turned off at network level by O2 which is annoying.

Yea seems to be a tmobile issue.
They disabled the wifi calling icon in pie
