WiFi Calling Issue 2.4 GHZ

So like a lot of you folks I got my preorder early. As a LT sammy user I am excited for something new. With that said, I cannot get my LG-G6 Sprint to connect to my 2.4GHZ band for WiFi calling. It works great in 5GHZ but not 2.4GHZ. 2.4GHZ fills up my house better and my repeater also repeats only the 2.4GHZ. So the 5GHZ is spotty. Anyone else having issues like this. My Note 4 works fine on 2.4GHZ.


edit. after 15 mins of not connecting, 1 min after posting this, it connected. weird. its possible my repeater is the issue

Glad it's working! I've found that wi-fi repeaters/extenders can be wonky as well.

Use https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...om.farproc.wifi.analyzer&hl=en&token=4Wl7izX7 and check how crowded your 2.4 ghz is. Maybe you just need to use a different channel.

Weird. Mine connects just fine. Next time just restart your router and give it a try.

I received my AT&T G6 yesterday and can't connect to wifi calling on either band. Never had an issue on my S7 Edge. Tried rebooting modem.

Anyone else having an issue? Could be a bad phone.
