Wifi calling not turning on?

Hey all! I am a former user of the Note Edge, just got my G5 today :D I seem to be in the minority here, but I am loving the phone so far! The only issue I am having is Wifi calling not turning on when I hit the toggle. The page just refreshes and it isn't toggled on.. Any ideas?
 
Hi there. I'm a Product Ambassador with Sprint and I'd like to help if I can. Have you tried doing a ##SCRTN# on the dialer to reset the radios?
 
We are actively investigating the failure to enable Wi-Fi Calling, and we are working with LG. Performing an exchange will not resolve the behavior. I will update the post once I have more information.

Matt....any idea why outgoing calls on car bluetooth don't ring?
At first it didn't ring on any calls now it's intermittent

Hi MikeDee1 - Is this a Sprint specific issue? I'm sorry I am not familiar with it. Is this being tracked in another AC Forum thread and if so can you provide that or some background? If the issue is being reported cross carrier then it's something in the software itself vs a Sprint specific issue and we would have limited ability to fix that although we can definitely raise our concerns to LG. It's nothing I am seeing that is being reported internally by Retail and Care channels at this time. More information is very useful and if you are a Sprint customer, getting tickets in REALLY helps us. Tickets Track Trends as we like to say so I encourage you and anyone else running into the issue to call Care or report the problem via the Sprint Zone app on the phone. Thanks!
 
Sorry for such a long delay in the response, but I am with Sprint.. Hopefully they can sort this out soon, my house has pretty poor voice signal, phone calls are almost impossible at home without Wifi calling!
 
@Stephen33, trust me, we are working on it and hope to have a resolution soon. I will update this post as I have progress. Thanks for being a loyal Sprint customer. :)
 
I don't use Wi-Fi calling, but my LG G5 - Verizon just did an android update which Verizon's notes said was for Wi-Fi calling.
 
I also have T-Mobile and mine connects but there have been two cases where it lost connection while the phone was asleep and had to turn off and back on again to reconnect.

Seems there must be some overall issues with wi-fi calling.

May not be related to your issue but Verizon just rolled out a wifi calling update to the G5

This has been the only issue that I have had with this awesome phone, and it seems weird that every carrier version has had this happen.. Sprint must have rolled out the update yesterday and I didn't see it. When I arrived home from work last night, I clicked the wifi calling quick toggle, and it actually allowed me to set it up, and after a short delay, it connected! One odd thing I'm noticing though, is that the mobile network voice signal still shows bars, on my Note Edge it wasn't like this.
 
My Verizon G5's only option for wifi calling seems to be when there is no mobile network available. I force it by leaving it in airplane mode at home.

Works fine besides having to do that. Calls and texts come in and go out... I'm on my phone a lot for work and I've had no issues.
 
We did roll out a back end fix for the issue. Glad it's working now for you. For anyone else it's NOT working for, please do an update profile from settings>system updates.
 
I updated my profile in settings mine says problem loading management page or i get enablement error and to power cycle device
 
Great to see a carrier engaging with their customers on a public forum, and trying to solve issues.
 
Wish i could get this working. I currently have an unlocked version LG G5 using with a T-mobile sim. The HD voice under Advance calling is greyed out. Cant seem to get Wifi calling enabled. Its hurting me bad as my signal is bad at work and the battery drains very quick. Any help?

I would contact T-Mobile to see if something has to be enabled on their end
