wifi calling on s9+

I have a Samsung galaxy s9+ that was originally from Verizon but I currently have a mintmoblie (mintsim) sim card in it, so I do not have a Verizon account. How can I turn on wifi calling without using Verizon's settings? It looks like Verizon has an upgrade option to enable wifi calling but I don't have an account with Verizon so it doesn't look like I can do wifi calling. Any advice?
