Rocking HTC sensation with Simple Mobile Network, wondering if I can activate WiFi calling and/or Visual voicemail since I?m not Tmobile.

Unfortunately, no. WiFi calling is one of those features that only works for T-Mobile since your phone connects to the T-Mobile UMA servers to be able to use UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access) for calling over VOIP WiFi calling. As for Visual Voicemail, you might be able to use it for your carrier if they support it, but you'd need the visual voicemail app from that carrier and not the T-Mobile one.

Question, since Simple Mobile is a reseller of T-Mobile, doesn't that technically make it a T-Mobile network, which would then allow the WiFi calling?

No. Different service provider so they don't connect to the same equipment. Same network but different provisioning. That's like saying Virgin Mobile customers should get all the benefits Sprint offers without actually paying Sprint rates.

While I stand to be corrected, most times phone features grant you access to some features your service provider doesn’t; good example- coming from iPhone 4, I was able to video call without simple mobile offering this feature, with my sensation, I’m able to forward my calls and tether which SM doesn’t offer. Visual voicemail didn’t work with my iPhone but worked with Nokia N900
