Wifi calling unsafe?

I was just thinking about something. If going on public wifi can be dangerous for just surfing and opening apps, is it just as dangerous to use it for making calls? Can someone tap into your phone call like they can watching your keystrokes and stuff? Should I stop using wifi calling outside of my house?

I mean as a general networking suggestion I would say yes. Unless you absolutely have to be on a public Wi-Fi network with no mobile data, and you're not on a VPN, I wouldn't use public unsecure Wi-Fi.
