wifi chimes

Every time my Pixel connects (disconnects?) to WiFi, it chimes. It is becoming increasingly annoying. I cannot figure a way to undo this feature. Please help. Thank you.

Best guess? It's likely coming from a third-party app. Could be a battery monitor; could even be something like ES File Explorer (since that developer has a penchant for adding weird stuff to the app).
