WiFi Connected Notification ongoing

Does anyone know how to disable the ongoing WiFi notification in the notification bar on the S6?

It says WiFi connected and then the WiFi network. Thanks!

This question has been posted before, and it seems the answer is no, you can't remove this notification. At least, with the AT&T version.

On the verizon you can.
Go to settings . Wifi. Then top right select more. Then select advanced and the option to turn of notification is like the 3 option down.

Its not that same turn off notification

for anyone googling this : if you long press the wi-fi notification, go to the app's advanced options, and "Disable Peeking."
