Wifi/Data questions

1. Is there a way to setup a priority list of Wifi networks i.e. if two are available take a over b?
2. Is there a way to turn on mobile data but only for certain apps? IE my touchdown email app can use mobile data but weather bug should only be wifi etc...

1 - The device should pick the highest bandwidth network assuming it is a mix of b,g and n networks. Other than that there are free apps to set the priority.

2 - Not that I have seen. What network an app uses is up to the app, not the OS...

Can you provide some names of the apps for the WiFi priority?

There also must be an app for the mobile data usage per app... Using my same example of weather bug I'd like to say that it can use mobile data as long as it is a manual refresh on my part, otherwise it needs WiFi. Same type of stuff with other app'sp

I dont use any for priority but there are several free apps that break usage down by interface and app. I like traffic monitor.
