I'm on Sprint and have the LG G3. I'm having trouble with the Wi-Fi draining my battery fast. If I'm on the network its fine. I've already done a factory reset today. Any ideas as how to fix?

Sorry, just to clarify--when you're on the 3G/4G network, it doesn't drain? How is the overall performance on wi-fi? Does it drain fast on any wi-fi network, or just your home network?

So far it seems to be any Wi-Fi. But mostly home.

Go to Settings>Wi-fi, tap Menu>Advanced, and turn on "Wi-fi Optimization" (which is intended to save battery, not improve wi-fi performance).

I loved my LG G3, but I ended up switching to a Sony Xperia Z3 because the poor battery life got to me. I last charged my phone 14 hours ago and after a whole day of calls, YouTube, listening to music and podcasts, and browsing, I still have 28% battery. My LG G3 with the same amount of use would have had to be recharged twice already.

Great phone but I don't think we are ready for quad HD phones yet, unless you don't mind horrible battery life.
