WiFi dropouts

My Tab 4 has problems with wifi. I can usually connect fine but it might disconnect after 5 mins or 1 min or not for the whole session. It is random. Once it disconnects it sometimes will reconnect by turning wifi off and on. Other times I have to reboot the tablet.

I'm thinking this is just a bad radio, but maybe software? It's running 5.1 Lollipop.
