WiFi dropping out

Has anyone had a problem with Lollipop and the WiFi connection getting dropped. Last night I was browsing the web on my S4 and noticed that the WiFi connection kept dropping in an out! Rebooted and did a cache wipe! Seems to be ok now but will wait and see
Still not convinced I shouldn't just flash this thing back to 4.4.2

Are you talking about an S4 or S5? You posted in the S5 forum.

Cache wipes can be useful after system updates, so let us know if that seemed to fix the issue for good.

What cache are u wiping to do this, I need to do the same thing, having same issue on hone wifi, dropping home network, in and out and constant pop up........annoying

Updated my AT&T S5 to 4.4.4 and now wifi is basically unusable for me. Constantly dropping.

Edit: it seems turning off smart network switch fixes the problem.

Mine sucks since the update too. Dropping WiFi every 10 seconds. Won't update from play store either. Loads halfway, stops.

By the way, a member in this thread suggested turning off the Smart Network option in Settings>Wi-fi (tap Menu, then Advanced). http://forums.androidcentral.com/ask-question/487990-galaxy-s5-loses-wifi-connection-new-post.html
