Wifi help on samsung galaxy s4 version 4.4.2

I restarted my phone and I realized that the wifi was not on. I went to settings and there was a wifi option but it was locked on "off". Does anyone know how to fix it yourself or do I have to get it checked out?? Thanks!

Tap and hold the wifi icon in the pull down Notifications. That will bring up the options to setup a new connection or simply connect to the existing connection. If you are referring to the switch in settings slide it on to turn it "green"

These are my settings in "advanced settings" with the wifi turned off in the quick menu drop down.
