WiFi Hotspot Worse with ICS

Anybody else with the service test out the WiFi hotspot? What a MAJOR disappointment. I actually think it had gotten pretty good on GB...was getting about 2,000 Kbs on a strong 4G signal and was actually steady. WiFi reliability was supposedly a highlight of the new ICS. Wrong. I can only get up 1,200 kbs and every 30 seconds it drops to almost nothing...just like the bad old days. Cancelling tomorrow.

Attached... my network monitor on my PC while streaming....

Other quick bits...
Phone seems to run hotter
Signal status bars seem re-calibrated...strong 4G signal...only 3-4 bars. But measured speed is at least as good as ever.

Yeah the Mobile Hotspot for the Rezound was a HUGE disappointment for me. It would constantly drop for no reason even though I constantly get a 4G signal with 4-5 bars. I wasted a whole month working with VZW trying to find a fix and they finally gave up and said that the ICS update would fix it....Yeah right! They need to stop the false advertising, the Mobile Hotspot does not work correctly!
And after I cancelled it it took them a whole month to figure out how much to credit me even though I told them like 50 times, I guess some of the VZW reps can't count or something :-\

Blue tooth tether works excellently. I'll check speeds out and get back to this post.

I will try my HS once I get my ICS update complete. I have been using the Verizon mobile HS app for six months and I have never had a problem. Just finished a trip across country and we used the hs in our car with no problem. I often use it in hotels that have poor or overloaded wifi. I hope ICS does not make my HS no longer work.

Fwiw, it worked flawless on the .10 leak for me. Verizon isn't allowed to block any tethering applications anymore either, so you could maybe try a different application. I downloaded and tested foxfi just to see with my own eyes that it was true. I didn't test it extensively tho.
