Hi,
when I look into the battery stats on my Nexus 5 it gives me a constant blue bar of wifi when I'm at home. When I leave the house (my wifi area) it stops. But I chose to only stay connected to wifi in standby while charging. And I also turned off location scanning over wifi (for most people this was the solution) and all the other stuff under wifi options. I also did a factory reset of my phone but also without any apps installed wifi was active all the time, it only stops when I switch it off. Has anyone a solution? Thank you

Since this is not a common problem (there would be many more complaints if it was), my guess is that you have installed an app which is using your network connection even while the phone is off.

Your job now is to figure out which app that may be.

Thanks for your reply, I thought the same, that's why I did the factory reset. Then it has to be an app of google..

Well I have tested my power consumption on my N5 when it is sleeping with and without Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi awake only uses about 1% of the battery every ten hours when the phone is sleeping connected to Wi-Fi that has that solid blue bar in the battery display. I would guess it would be the same even when it is awake but not 100% sure about that.
