I have this weird problem on my UMI smartphone, which I also had on my latest phone (WIKO) and which was one of the reasons I purchased a new one
If my phone comes out of sleep mode, the WIFI icon says it's still connected (and when checking the settings it says the same), which is as it should be because the WIFI sleep setting is set to "Always On".
But every app I start, tells me I don't have an active connection. Turning WIFI off and back on usually solves the problem.
Even weirder:
* sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I haven't been able to find any logic behind it.
* laptop, iPad and the misses old Samsung experience no trouble at all with WIFI
* no battery saving apps installed, just the usual stuff (Facebook, Whatsapp, Feedly etc.)
Any suggestions is welcome!
Cheers guys,
Cees
