WiFi issue on official GB update

So I just did a manual update to 2.3.3 and I cant get it to connect to an open WiFi network. It just cycles through connecting and disconnecting. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yep its official .588 build I believe

Doh, voted on the wrong option. No problems here. Wifi is definitely improved on this build of GB as I can now use wpa/wpa2 without signal drops. With the leaks anything over wep would cause problems but it seems to be fixed

Verizon has just said it's not rolling out yet. Could be another leak or it could be just sent out to those that participate in their testing program. It's not official yet, treat it like another leak.

So let me see if I've got this right.... I received the OTA notification and updated my X last night. But Verizon is saying that they aren't pushing out the update?! Hmmm.

I just read a thing on BGR that was posted today saying they are now pushing it out lol. Its a bit cornfusing lol

That article is hardly conformation that this is an official release. Looks like their source is "Motorola Droid X users" and not Verizon Wireless.

This may end up being the offical release, but as of now, I'm saying no its not.

When Verizon announces it, then it is official.

Treat this as a leak for now.
