wifi issue on Pixel XL after 8.1 update

[Android Central Question]

Wifi on phone connects, disconnects, trys again, has question mark and x. just keeps cycling. won't connect. I know network works. phone did the same thing home and at work. did reset, turned wifi on and off, turned airplane mode on and off.

Had same problem. Uninstalled verizon security and wi fi works fine now
