I have been very happy with my spigen dual armour case and my, Thor case. I was fiddling about last night checking broadband speeds with ookla speed test. At home I get 16-18 Mbs with my Galaxy tab 3. Tried wife's phone 16-18 Mbs. Tried my LG G3, got around 10mbs. Eh? I thought, try again, exactly the same result. Cleared up ram etc, turned off Galaxy tab, ran a test again, same 9-10mbs. It was bugging me all day. I decided to take my spigen Case off, WHAMMO 16-18mbs. I still use the case but never thought this would happen. Maybe just my case. I'm still happy with 10mbs at home. My 4G is fine around 50 Mbs. Weird... The broadband poltergeist.

So were you using the Verus Thor case or the Spigen Dual Armour case?

Some of the Amazon reviews also mention signal degradation (not sure if mobile data or wifi), that the reviewer suspected was related to the metal band of the case.

Hi B Diddy.
Same with both cases. It's annoying. I'd rather have a poorer signal though, than a faster phones with no dual layer case. Mobile data Brill around 50Mbps on 4G.

Try a case from BUDDIBOX. Besides clearing up your speed issue you may be pleasantly surprised at the difference a case makes. I had the Spigen and while it looked tre' chic it was also super slippery. So I went over to Amazon and looked at the options and ordered the BUDDIBOX, Wow what a difference. The grip is contoured in such a way that the phone feels much smaller in the palm of your hand when holding in Portrait mode. When playing games the rubberized portions of the sides give you solid grip. Love the Phone and the Case.
