Wifi issues

I've noticed that after rooting I have a problem maintaining a wifi connection. Specifically, after 3 to 4 minutes of use it fails. I have to turn wifi off then on again. It will then work for another few minutes before failing. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this the kind of thing that could be a radio issue (i.e. reflash radio to potentially fix)?

Try flashing a Kernel + the wifi N

Should help you out and you'll get a higher FPS if you flash the right one...

Bluger if I recall you have software version 1.47 (post OTA) so you should already have wireless N. Did you end up flashing a ROM? If so which ROM?

Have you tested on different wireless networks to eliminate your network from being the problem? Maybe go to a friends or family members house and connect to theirs and see if it does the same. Could have something to do with your wireless router being dual band? Remember when the iPad launched and wouldn't keep a connection for crap? Might be similar? Although my router is dual band and I'm fine. Just trying to get you thinking outside the box.

Thanks for the suggestions. I flashed the Toasted Delight v2 (which is stupid fast). I wish there was an easy way to check in setting and software what versions of which kernels and other nonsense you have.
EDIT: Being so new, I'm not sure which things are ROM specific and which aren't. When I switch ROMs, am I always installing that ROM's radio or wifi or fps or whatever?

So embarrased. It was a problem with my router. I just assumed that it was working normally because I hadn't heard any complaints from my housemate. Then, last night, he asked me if I've noticed weird issues with the wireless network dropping my connection...
