Wifi Issues

I have been using a Desire S as my HTC One was stolen a few days ago. Wifi and all apps have been working fine until I got back this evening and now while I have a connection and it works with my Dolphin Browser, BBC Sport app and Sky + app, in the Play Store, Twitter etc it says having trouple loading news feed or loffing in etc as if there is no connection, anyone have any ideas? (These apps were working fine earlier).

reboot your phone, wifi router, and modem. when in doubt, reboot.
