WiFi issues

Anyone find a fix for the WiFi issues? I know for sure it's not a router issue my other phones work fine. Slow app loading, especially Instagram and Yahoo Mail.
 
Try to reboot the router and phone. Also remove the wifi connection and add it back

Are you using GSam? I have a bug with that app where the % of battery used by WiFi changes based on your phone's WiFi status. See if you have it, too.

Check your current usage, then turn off WiFi and refresh GSam. Do the WiFi active and phone radio %s change? Mine sort of swap,making it appear that the WiFi active usage is much higher when the WiFi is toggled on. The phone's built-in battery percentages don't always match up with GSam's.
 
Do you have the same issues when you are out and about connecting to Wifi?
 
Yes some apps are slow, I read it was a issue with Web services, but wondering if it's a router issue. I have it set for wap personal, both 2.4 and 5. It's a select group of apps all the time. I reset the phone, removed and reinstalled the apps, same result. My s5, tab and iPad work fine.

Since the other devices aren't having the issue, doesn't appear that it's the router.

Try clearing the cache partition. If that doesn't work, try the device reset. If that doesn't work, call tech support to document. They may recommend an exchange.

Sounds like a lot but got to eliminate one thing at a time.

There are some having this same issue, was hoping someone found a fix
If you don't feel comfortable, call tech support. They can remote in to your phone and can also walk you through the above step by step.
 
Its not all applications, its limited to Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat (I have a teen daughter lol) and a couple others. Those are running slow, the rest are doing good even faster than 4G.

Facebook, Wikipedia, also don't work. It's ridiculous.
