Wifi not activating

My wifi won't activate which is not allowing me to connect to a network or activate my mobile hotspot. Anyone have this issue before?

You really need to provide some details for anybody to help.

Are you stock, rooted, using 2.1, 2.2, did you just upgrade, did this just start happening, or was it working before....
