Wifi not working after upgrade

[AC Question]

I upgraded my lg g5 to the new version and now my phone doesn't connect to the wifi in my car?I was told I need to do a system downgrade- do you have any ideas how to fix this. I only installed the mirror monitor in my car 2 weeks ago....

Yes, it connects via local Wi-Fi but is connecting and dropping straight away ever since I upgraded the software.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If the phone's Bluetooth is on, try turning it off, since Bluetooth can sometimes interfere with 2.4 GHz wi-fi.

Thanks for the reply. Bluetooth is always turned off. Any other ideas I can try?

Who told you that you need to downgrade--the mirror monitor manufacturer? If so, then they presumably haven't updated their software or firmware to be compatible with the current Android build you're on. Not sure if there's much you can do about that, sorry! Downgrading on a G5 is probably not a simple process, and I imagine it would require rooting.
