First question is what is the point of the wifi since when you click on say a cnn notification it sends it to your phone.

Second question, do you have wifi turned on, turned on automatic, or just turned off and why do you have it in whatever configuration you have it in.

Thanks

If you have mobile data turned off and WiFi turned on, you "get sent to" WiFi.

I usually have WiFi enabled, because my phone uses WiFi where it can (including for phone calls), so when I'm at home I don't use mobile data and whenever I'm out, if WiFi is available, I don't use mobile data. (And to use Walmart Pay, I have to connect to Walmart's WiFi - and since that's where I do my food shopping, I use it that way a lot.)

Mine is set to automatic. This way, when at home, I can leave my phone wherever suits me. If the watch looses BT connection, it will connect to my phone through Wifi. Any messages or phone calls will still show on my watch.

That is a good feature because I constantly leave my phone in one room while I wander around the house and before I kept losing bluetooth connection and quite a few times I missed things.
