Wifi Password is too long

So I've been trying to connect to my school WiFi but every time I type it in, I'm always one number short, like the number doesn't fit. How do I fix this or do I have to wait till there's an update?

It's his school's Wi-Fi; I don't think changing the password on the router is a viable option.

How long is the password? In later versions of Android OS, you can enter seemingly endless passwords - just keep typing and the field scrolls to the left to accommodate the extra characters. I presume Android 6 is the same, though I do not have a device handy to test...

Ugh....I missed that. The coffee can start kicking in any time now....

As for the length of the password, my router has been on a 26 character set for quite some time now, and none of my devices have had an issue connecting.
