Wifi poor

Does anyone know why my wifi is only working well when I'm sat right next router? My wife has exactly the same phone as me and has no problem anywhere in the house.

Try a hard reset or factory reset,,,,, but first delete all WiFi connections saved first, if that dont work than do the resets that worked for mine time ago,, hard reset is pushing power button same time as volume up button at same time,, factory reset is settings than back up n restore than select erase everything,, BUT BACK UP DEVICE FIRST!!!
