wifi problems since 4.4.4 update

I had this issue with m8 did the usual to address it, but a simple reboot of the router and reconnect did the trick, no issues since
 
Still experiencing wifi connection issues on two Nexus 7 2013 tablets. They can't seem to stay connected to the wifi inspite of wiping cache partitions, rebooting and testing in safemode, DE-SELECTING minimize battery usage when wi-fi is on, setting sleep activity after 30 minutes of inactivity,...
all but hard reset.

Is there anything else that I can do ... or do I send back to be fixed.

Same here.... still going offline after all tips, even clear cache. In my case is a Moto X 1st generation :(
 
Hey B. Diddy.

My wifi button wont turn on and no connections are being picked up since a 4.4.4 software update. Is there a way to switch to an older android version? I think its a glich in the software
 
removing wifi optimization worked for me (moto g). It was rebooting every time the wifi was on for some reason. Thanks for the suggestion. I had to turn off wifi in between reboots just to be able to do anything.
 
If the issue remains even after performing a repair with PC Companion i recommend that you contact a service location to have the phone checked.
 
Please HELP anyone. I purchased a new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with 4.4.4 and my wife just stopped working and keeps giving me authentication problem error. I even did a factory reboot and no help. Nothing seems to workd even theough wifi light comes on it will not connect and go into the upper taskbar>?? Help please
