Wifi range of Nexus One and Linksys WRT54?

Hey folks,

What kind of wifi range do you get with your N1 and your Linksys WRT54? Is it mainly just inside your house (or building), or does your range extend outside too?

This depends so much on location of the router and building construction that I can't imagine getting a meaningful answer to your question.

If you want good backyard coverage, put the router in a window.

this really depends on you rspecific setup. but my nexus seems to get very strong wifi signal, as i can pick up my router when i walk down the street with my phone. it still could surf the web about 4-5 houses away, then lost signal.

I know the WiFi in general with my N1 is better than my old iPhone. There's one building where I'm at frequently that I wasn't able to get WiFi reception, but w/ my N1 it's able to grab the signal and hold on to it in the same place.
