Wifi Range on the Captivate?

When someone gets a chance, can we see what the wifi range for the Captivate (and Aria) are going to be? Since AT&T is metering data plans, using Wifi is going to be important. If I have to be within 10 feet of the router to get wifi, my estimates of how much data I will use will be way off. And if my estimates are way off, I need to think about something other than AT&T.
