How exactly does this work. I see it says switch to mobile network after 15 mins. Does that mean 15 mins of inactivity then the mobile data kicks on? I changed it to never I left WiFi on over night and noticed my battery was dead in the morning.

My guess it wasnt that. I leave mine in that state all the time. Mine generally stays connected with and without it checked. Prolly cause something is always updating and keeping it alive so it never goes back to 3G. But yeah that shouldnt be killing it.

I looked in spare parts this morning, and noticed that the guage was on 100% wifi in terms of usage. Would this have any toll on the battery?

I'm loving how my Bolt just auto-connects to my home network whenever it's in range :) I've checked it about a dozen times just to make sure it's auto-connecting and it is each time :)

Ok here is what I found out in terms of the wifi sleep policy. Default setting is set to 15mins. WHen the phone goes to sleep and if it has been in sleep for longer than 15 mins wifi will turn off then switch over to mobile network data. Now some say wifi uses less power than mobile network, In my case thats true because in our office building we do not get good mobile network so 3g/4g go in and out and then at times to no services..THIS DRAINS MY BATTERY. So now using the wifi network at work, I turned the wifi sleep police to NEVER so it will constantly stay on wifi. And I am now seeing better battery. (atleast slightly..it helped)
