Is there some reason why I dont hit the same download speeds with my phone as I do with my desktop? I know people have posted hitting like 20mbs with lte before and Im not hitting 10mbs over wifi.

WiFi and LTE are two different things. LTE IS 4G network from Verizon. WiFi is a internet based signal that's pushed through a wireless router/modem. Wifi can be all different speeds it depends on how much you pay. The more you pay the more bandwirh u are supplied with.

I know they are different. The point is my wifi is on the TB is showing slower speeds than it should. I have a 18Mb connection but yet Im downloading like 8Mb with the phone.

My guess is since your computer is plugged in it can reach max speeds where as the thunderbolt is wireless so it doesn't get as high. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please. :-)

The computer is over WIFI too :) No system in my house will reach to be hardwired.

I never get over 5-6Mb off my WiFi and I get 30Mb from my pc. That's using latest ota radio and ging beta 8
