I have a sprint Motorola Photon with Hotspot from sprint. I am trying to connect my tablet Thrive and it will not connect. It sees it and it scans for it but it will not connect it just keep says connecting....

Any help?

The hotspot on the phone works great I can connect my home and work laptops no problem.

I haven't gotten any to work. I played with PDAnet for awhile but couldn't ever get it to work. Let me know if you find a answer. Right now I'm looking at rooting my X, and using the wifi tether option.

I use a Samsung Hotspot wifi device (Verizon) for all my puters, cellphones, my Thrive tablet and my husband's Galaxy Tab.

This worked for me with devices that refused to see ad-hoc connections:

In Wifi Tether settings set the Device-Profile to Google NexusOne and the Setup-Method to Netd.

Good Luck
